Deryk yawned and looked around, there was a swarm of Lessers down here, crawling in and out of the train that sat idle on the tracks. The smell of the creatures was bad, but Deryk was more or less used to it now. Holly ran ahead, prodding Lessers and taking shiny things off of them. Watches, belts, anything, she carried with her now a little backpack, filled with objects she'd taken from the Lessers, she would have let Deryk hold it but she didn't like having to run back and forth as he idly trundled behind, tired from a long night of wandering.
"Are you tired, Deryk?" She asked, Deryk only nodded.
"Come on then, we'll rest here," the little girl's tiny hand pointed towards a maintenance closet.
Deryk moved his heavy frame towards the closet and opened the door, it was empty. Oh, bliss, to be able to lie down and sleep..
Something stirred the Lessers. Presumably humans.
Ugh. Deryk thought as he turned back around to face whatever was coming his way.

She had not been here in some time. In fact, not since her days of socializing and carrying on with several of her Overmind friends had she been down into this particular part of the city. This had been one of her favorite hunting spots actually. A great place to come looking for humans to run her experiments on as well as for finding others to try and force her sin upon. She had loved it. So why had she stopped coming here? Well the answer was simple...or perhaps not. See, to answer that would mean that she would have to delve behind those thick, concrete walls encased in steel that she had fought so hard to put up around herself, the ones that she had used to lock away any part of her that had once existed outside of the carefree, bubbly, overall happy woman that she was now. She would have had to admit that there was indeed another part to her than what she presented to the world now.
So, rather than do that, she would simply brush the entire thought aside and focus upon the happy thoughts bouncing around her intensely inebriated mind. It wasn't hard. Seeing as how the purpose of the drugs that she continually fed into her system was to keep her happy and not giving a fuck about the darker aspects of life that seemed to continually surround her. The skirt of her dress swooshing softly as she moved, little hands clasping the sides of her skirt to keep the fabric off of the ground. The corset she wore was one that laced up the front, though it was no less capable of pushing up her breasts and accentuating her cleavage as well as her slender, flawless form.
Chestnut curls fell in long spirals down her back and over her shoulders, a few even managing to topple down over her breasts as she turned her head from side to side, examining the familiar area around her and taking in all the changes that had occurred over the past few years since she had been gone. It was fascinating really, how quickly things could change, and as she walked she found herself wishing that she had brought her notebook with her in order to take notes and draw out sketches of the area. It would be nice, to have those notes, because even though she could not think of a use for them right off the top of her head, she could still see the advantages to studying the effects of time on a place as opposed to a person. A study that personally she felt to be rather fascinating in its own right.
Lost in her thoughts, she almost missed the sound of a child's voice over the soft groans and drones of the Lessers which shuffled about her. Their putrid smell one that the Overmind of Gluttony had become immune to for the most part, reminding her instead of the humans that she often times kept locked away while bits of their own bodies began to rot right before their very eyes. However, she did not miss the voice entirely, catching just enough of it to alert her to the presence of somebody else down here in in the underground layers of the city. A curious thing indeed and one that brought untold amounts of joy to the usually secluded Overmind. She loved socializing, she just didn't seek it out as much as she once had. Instead, she allowed people to come to her usually. But now..since she was here...she just couldn't help herself from going forward to investigate.
Oooh, in the back of her mind she could hear Link grumbling about her lack of concern for her own self preservation, muttering something or other about how she needed to be more cautious. A soft grin tugging upon her lips at the thought, mentally waving a dismissive hand at such things as she always did to him when confronted with his sour mood and stuffy attitude. The Lessers around her groaning a bit louder as she mentally nudged them to move out of the way, stepping forward through the mess of them, and eventually stumbling upon the source of the voice...or at least she thought it was. Eyes shifting from the child, to the large male nearby as her mind worked together what she was likely seeing. "Hello there." Her light, airy tone lifting into the air as a bright smile curled upon her lips...blue-green eyes lingering upon the male for a moment as her hands released her skirt and clasped each other softly in front of her.

Deryk's eyes drifted up and down the woman who emerged from the Lessers like Moses parting the Red Sea, she definitely seemed a lot friendlier than a lot of other Overminds, but Deryk was naturally wary of them, especially after his first encounter. He hesitated to respond, and Holly beat him to it.
"Hello there!" She chirped, she liked friendly people, despite how cold she had become towards Deryk, other Overminds provided a sense of delight to the little Overmind of Greed. They could give her things!
Completely hiding the pit of pure evil that lay beneath her flesh, Holly approached the other Overmind with single-minded intent to extend her hand out and shake the hand of the woman. Deryk took this as an act of spite, as he looked towards his left arm, or, what had regrown of it. Down to about an inch under the elbow had grown back, tattoos and everything.
