Alright. Well, Maybe I was stupid lastnight when I was reading through the essential information and I managed to skip this part.... But there are many different versions of zombies. I understand that these ones are not infectious and their scratches and bites will not turn you. But are they the stupid kind of zombie? Are the fast or slow? And do gun shots attract other zombies?
I mean? Am I supposed to be thinking of the original zombie? Or some crazy resident evil zombies?
Thanks a lot! (:

idk if this is right, but as far as i have seen, its all of the above (minus the resident evil crazed villager bullshit).... theres fast ones, slow ones, dumb ones, smart ones, you just have to justify it. I mean, a zombie with a broken leg isnt going to be sprinting toward you, and a zombie has no ears (because something happened to them) wouldnt hear a gunshot, but maybe they'll smell you, or see that the others are going somewhere and follow.... think of em as a kind of wolf. Pack animals, but can be solos and there are all kinds hoped this helped.... if not, oh well.... i tried
A new zombie is pretty much faster than any human, they can run until they fall apart, their senses all work fine and their sense of smell works to pick out human flesh. They will congregate to loud noises and follow a 'herd' instinct which is if one zombie runs toward you the others will turn to find out what it's chasing and follow. They're not smart, not particularly at least... they can't work door handles and won't be about to climb ladders without reason but they're smart enough to migrate after food.
The older a zombie gets, the more rotten and the more damaged the slower it gets physically. They don't feel pain and a broken leg won't stop them but it will hinder them simply because it'll give way when they step on it. Their senses deteriorate as the physical parts disappear, eyes being most vulnerable, smell and hearing next. They'll still wander after food but they're much slower than previously and might even be slower on the uptake if you pass them.
All in all it's age variable but they're more comparable to modern fast zombies than the classic Romero zombies.
